Synapsys are pleased to be celebrating coming of age this October with our 21st anniversary, which also nicely coincides with us becoming an Employee owned Business.
Harvey Roft and Andy Devine founded Synapsys Solutions in 2001 and we’ve come a long way from our early beginnings in Hurstpierpoint.
From our initial SIP interfacing products to OEM controls and developing energy dashboards. A move to our own premises in Burgess hill and our recent hardware advancements SIP+, SIP2, SIPslice, through to our LiGO lighting controls and energy and billing software platforms, we’ve always had the same mission – to develop and supply innovative hardware and software solutions to the intelligent building control industry.
Moving into our 21st year marks huge changes at Synapsys. We announced that on the 14th September 2022 Synapsys Solutions became an employee-owned business run through an employee ownership trust (EOT).
This decision was driven by the desire to continue the company’s independence, product innovation, choice for our customers and recognition of the fact that Synapsys Solutions has been built upon the hard work and commitment of its employees over the past 21 years.
Harvey Roft said “The past 21 years have seen us build Synapsys from its humble beginnings to a trusted partner and supplier for all our customers. From a small product offering to the full range of hardware and software solutions that we provide today our company has continued to innovate while maintaining its values, culture and ethos”.
