Trend SXNC
The Trend SXNC is an IQ2 based interface which covers a large proportion of 3rd party equipment and is available as either a RS232 or a RS485. The SXNC allows a 3rd party system to be connected to the Trend network.
It stores values received from the 3rd party system, making them available to other devices on the Trend network. The interface consists of a pre configured SXNC controller with an RS232/RS485 convertor module (depending on 3rd party requirements) connected to the specially modified RS232 port and a dedicated script program (TCL) which performs the necessary communication and calculations to produce the measurements in the IQ controller analogue array.
